Linda writes me the following email about Dolly:
"We get pits and mixes all the time--we don't adopt them for liability reasons and lack of responsible homes in TN"
Well first off, THANK YOU, Linda, for helping this little girl in her journey OUT of Tennessee!
As you can see, Dolly is a pit bull mix -- she is likely 12 to 16 weeks old (as of Apr. 13th, 2005) --
-- pit mixes have a LOT of pluses, compared to straight-pits --
-- their temperament can be a lot mellower in the dog aggression areas, since they're more diluted, and they can be LOVELY dogs -- I know this first-hand, since my Spud is a mix of sorts!
-- look at our own Danny and Boo -- two pit mixes who are thriving in their forever homes!
