Here's Brutus and Satin, who have seen nothing easy in their short lives --
-- their rescuer writes --
"Attached are pics. of Brutus and Satin. (Her name is like the fabric, not the devil.)
Both are about 1- 2 years. Brutus is the brindle and white and Satin is the black and white. Their previous owners were arrested for plotting to bomb local officials."
"The dogs were thrown in the back yard and left by the police. there was a family member who was supposed to be caring for them. Luckily, the neighbors noticed that he had stopped coming.
They started throwing food over the fence and lowering buckets of water to them over the fence."
"The dogs were removed from the property and brought where they have been receiving constant care. They are very people oriented. They love attention and thrive on belly rubs.
They are housebroken and are usually gentle on a leash. They both passed the SAFER temperment test with flying colors."
"They get along with other dogs. They will strive to please you.
They are always looking at you to see what exciting adventure is coming next. they are very happy go lucky dogs."
"Brutus thinks he is a lap dog and is very content when the littlest part of him is on you.
Please help me let these two be models to the world for their breed. They are absolutely amazing."
"Please let me know if this is good enough and how the pics turned out.
Thanks-
Shawna"
