-- as I said, if his story doesn't break your heart, his picture will --
-- this boy needs help -- he still has plenty of life in him -- a good five years, at least, if he is healthy --
-- but, he is no longer wanted. He can't go to a shelter -- that would be too much for him, and he wouldn't make their deadlines --
-- can you help? Re-read what a sweet, loving boy Bozz is, and if you're interested, fill out an application above -- !!

Here's our boy's April 2007 update!
Well, we recently got news that our boy Bozz is safe and sound, but he's still at the shelter, awaiting a home.
His angel writes --
"Available for adoption is a beautiful 10-year-old American
Staffordshire
Terrier of brindle coloring with no health problems. His name is Bozz
and
he gets along famously with small dogs and children.
Don’t let the age
fool you; there is plenty of life left in this dog with tons of love in
his
heart to give to the right family.
Bozz enjoys car rides, walks,
playing
with balls and loves to be outdoors. He would be best suited to a
family
with a lot of energy that enjoys the outdoors so that Boss and his
family
will have the same interests. "

|
|
"Bozz is the unfortunate victim of circumstance…his house was sold and
the
new owners of the house say he has to go.
Bozz is running out of time to find a new family. Will you make a
change
in a dog’s life and be the new family for Boss? You will be rewarded
with
love, and devotion for years to come."

To me, I just don't get it --
-- why do people dump older dogs?
I love older dogs -- they're sort of like a reality check -- telling me, and everyone, that life is a cycle, and that there are different stages to it, and that being an older dog doesn't mean you're any less worthy than a puppy, and adolescent or a mid-life dog.
Also, to me, and older dog means confort. Such a pup says "thank you" every day with his eyes, and they are a companion that is happy to be around.

So, please give our dear boy a look --
-- he is still available, he is still FUN, and his time isn't unlimited at the shelter -- :(
If you're interested in a whole lotta love, fill out an adoption application above!
