Well, little Brooklyn thought her life was all set... almost...

... her mom must give her up because of apartment problems -- her mom basically can't find a pad in NYC that allows dogs --

-- I will help any dog that needs it, so here goes --

Here's what Brooklyn's momma writes:

"I rescued an abused white pit puppy from a kill shelter in NY last year.

She was badly abused and needed to have her front right leg amputated.

Due to the cost of the operation the shelter was going to put her down, so I adopted her."

She continues:

"Originally I adopted her to get her the operation and get her a new home, however after the operation I fell in love with her and decided to keep her.

I am moving from school housing into an apartment that does not accept dogs and have had no luck finding her a home. I know that if I put her into the pound she will end up being put down and I am heartbroken at the thought of that happening."

And finally...

"I have no where to turn at this point and am devastated at the thought of putting her into the pound. Is your organization willing to take her to find her a new home? Please let me know ASAP as this is a time sensitive issue.

Brookie and I look forward to hearing from you..."
