Bully is only a year old, and already he might not see it to another Christmas...

Well, Bully thought he had the system licked, and then the floor fell through -- here's what his adoptive parents write --

"Help...I need a new home. I am a good looking, smart and very loveable male American Bulldog/pitbull mix. I like to cuddle and think I'm a lap dog. I spent part of my first year in a city shelter until I was rescued 6 months ago. I was rescued from the shelter by a young man and his wife. We were very happy together but the wife was transferred to Virginia and they could not take a dog with them. Right now I am with “Nana and Grandpa”. They can’t keep me and have been trying very hard to find me a good home. "

She continues:

"I am crate trained and would be best in a home with no other pets as I don’t like cats or other male dogs. I love to play with children especially Tim, who is 5 years old, but because of my size I tend to knock them down if they are younger than 12. I have not been neutered yet but my Nana is willing to pay $50 towards that to the vet of your choice. Please check me out!!! I’m rather handsome!"

HERE'S THE SAD PART:

"The dog gets on very well with us and our grandchild and with all visitors to the house. He is much too strong for me to handle. We have to get rid of him. We are going away this weekend and wanted some resolution before we left.

We are willing to donate $100 toward your organization and pay for gas if someone can pick him up. We would also be willing to meet you half-way.Otherwise we are going to have the dog euthenized as I can't see him spending the rest of his life in a city kennel. He would be too unhappy without the contact of people."

Interested? Apply above -- for Bully's sake -- a breed-savvy owner is preferred, as is someone willing to spend some QT in the obedience ring!
