Well, here's a real anomaly -- a pit bull rescued in Ohio, being fostered by a veterinarian -- she loves him very much, and wants him to find only the best of homes!
She writes --
"I rescued Clyde a few weeks ago from the Clark County Ohio humane society. I am a veterinarian in Springfield, Ohio. Our humane society will not adopt pit bulls out to the public. However, they will allow me to rescue one and allow me to adopt them out."

"I have rescued some pit bulls in the past few years. I have kept one of the six I rescued. I wish I could keep them all but I have too many dogs and cats already. "
Okay, now is this not the BEST picture, or what??
"Clyde has been staying with me and my family since we picked him up a the H.S. He was an outdoor dog chained to a dog house.
I have neutered and vaccinated him. He is heartworm negative and I will send 1 yr. worth of heartworm prevention when he leaves."

"He is very people friendly and is great with other dogs. He is great with young, old, male, female, even grumpy dogs.
I'm really looking for a great home for him or a great place that could take him. If you or know anyone that could take him I would really appreciate it if you could let me know. "
"I will provide driving or air transportation if anyone around the US can take him. I would like to get him out of Ohio. Ohio laws are not so great on pit bulls." |
Well, this boy has certainly beat many, many odds -- are you going to help him beat the final one and get him in your home, where he can start hamming around again?? |
