Danny would love to be your boy!

Danny is an anomaly of sorts -- first, he is a pit bull, but not an ordinary pit bull -- he is also part wire-hair terrier, too -- hence, his Seussical appearance...

... Danny is also blessed beyond his wildest dreams. He has a godmother, Vita, all the way in Erie, PA who found a dreadful story of his past and was determined to help him in any way she could...

Here you can see, Danny is a nice, full-sized pup.

When learning about Danny's past, Vita found out he was in a rescue in Ontario, Canada; but, due to its upcoming breed specific laws, Danny's rescue transferred him to another foster/rescue, who shortly thereafter dumped Danny in a kill shelter.

This boy deserves anything BUT a kill shelter. Crate trained and sweet, Danny is a little gentleman with a real zeal for life and a great demeanor with other pups.

Vita then put the word out to various rescues, and found a lot of not-so-helpful advice -- people with ill-intent that were more concerned with defaming other rescues than helping poor Danny get a real chance at life, since his Erie shelter already took him off their adoptable list.

Vita focused on what any true rescuer would -- the boy, Danny -- and she forged forward, driving 650 miles in one day to make Danny's ascent to SPBR possible. Here, Danny has been cleaned up, is doing great with socialization, has got some great photos (he is handsome!) and is ready to have a fun-filled winter and forever-life with the perfect family!
