Here's little Envy, and her story --

"Hey Eric -

It's Kelli, I adopted Petey from you guys last February. I come to you to help me with an issue that has risen from one of my former students. Today I received an e-mail from his mother in a state of angst about what to do with a 5 month old pitbull that the family owns.

Evidently, the family will be evicted if they do not get rid of the dog. I cannot take her as I am getting married in August and already have a menagerie of animals. I called my parents to see if they knew anyone who might want a dog and they are drawing blanks. You are my last hope so that this beautiful little girl, Princess Envy, does not end up in a shelter."

"I will forward you the email James' mother sent me. There are 2 pictures of Envy attched for you to look at. The family lives in Greenwich , CT and I would be happy to act as a transport or go between.

Thanks for all your help (and for my wonderful dog - he's doing great!!!)

-Kelli
"

-- and from the family --

"Dear Kelli: My son James told me that you would be interested in taking our puppy. It breaks my heart to give up our new edition to the family. Recently I was laid off at my job and did not sign on the closing of the house. We live in housing and are not allowed to have any cats or dogs. If you are still interested plese let me know. I am looking for a good home, a loving environment for Envy. She is 5 month old now. Regards: Miriam"

OKAY -- so at the end of this, we have a 20 week old puppy needing a home --

-- can you help? Can you call this girl your own? Will you take her to obedience, and make her an example of how great these dogs can be?

If so, fill out an application above!
