Here is little Louise, in October, 2004, when she was born --

-- shown at two weeks --

Louise came to SPBR through her momma, Dea, who was used as a breeder in the South --

-- before Dea's surrender, she gave birth to her prior litter under the porch of a house, where all didn't survive --

-- more on Louise's litter can be found here (as "Isabella") --

Here are Dea's pups and Satin's pups at their "coming out" look-see visit -- at five weeks old --

-- and here's our little lady at five weeks --

-- I love her nose -- !!

Here's Louise with her dad, who adopted her at 8 weeks and who has cared for her for the past year --

At the home-visit --

-- she's sweet as a pea -- !!

Here's "Boy", who little Louise has spent the first year of her life with --

-- and Boy and dad at home --

Here's little Louise at 3-4 months, and Boy...

-- and our girl, at present --

-- I recently got this email from her dad --

"I have a problem and I have to give up Louise --

-- I got really sick in January and had surgery and am on the road to recovery but It has been a long haul."

"I just do not have the strength and energy to give Louise the attention and focus she soo needs.

I do feel in a way I have let her  down but I have to do what is right."

"I know if I were to get rid of her the deal is that I give her back to you so I am contacted you to do this.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this will cause. I truly am.

Let me know what I need to do please.
"

Dogs are most commonly surrendered around 8-12 months of age --

-- at these ages, they're no longer puppies, and are usually at their prime age of high-energy --

-- if obedience and discipline were absent in the pup's first year, this is usually where it shows up --

-- as you can see, Louise is a stunning, beautiful girl --

-- and is already house-broken -- !!

So, if you're interested in correcting the course of this girl's life, and if you're ready to adopt her FOREVER, please fill out an adoption application above --

-- THANK YOU!
