I get a call from a mom that her son moved home with a pit bull, and that the pup is being left outside during the day, and that the pup needs re-homing --

-- after conversation, I find out that the pup, Kiera, is just 8 months old, and that she has "too much energy" to spend her time inside during the day.

I emphasize that the breed isn't meant to live outdoors, isolated, especially in the cold --

-- and she is posted on our forum, where Erica is kind enough to offer a foster home.

December 31st, I go give this girl a look, and here is what I get --

-- joy, beauty, curiosity --

-- in short, a BIG PUPPY -- !!

Kiera WANTS to be a little girl --

-- she wants to be Erica's best friend, as shown here --

-- she wants to be in your lap 24/7, and she wants ATTENTION -- !!

We're not sure how much attention she's received in her past 8 months, but one thing's for certain -- she's making up for lost time now -- !!

Little Kiera is a special girl --

-- she explores everything like it's her first time, with little idea of "how things work" or, quite honestly, little care -- !!

She's a happy, care-free pup, who is NOT deaf --

-- thus, unlike most white pit bulls, she is a hearing dog --

One things she REALLY REALLY loves is her TREATS --

-- here she is, on the approach --

-- and then, on the receipt --

-- even with BABY bones, she still scurries all around, trying to get every last crumb -- !!

So, here is our girl, pretty as a princess --

-- she will be spayed, chipped, vaccinated and wormed before placmement.

If you're interested in her, consider the role of adopting a new best friend --

-- she will be at your side at every moment, and she'll watch you like you're her creator --

-- not to get too heady, but adopting this love sounds like a GREAT PROPOSITION -- !!

She does okay with other dogs (she's a bit hyper) and the cat test is still in the works.
