Little Nory got a bit off track -- can you help him get back?

Here's little Nory -- his rescuer writes --

"A co-worker's brother inherited an American Stafforshire Terrier that he re-homed to his cousin, another co-worker.  The 2ND co-worker saw the dog at 5 weeks old (already taken away from his mother a few days prior!)  and thought that puppies stay small forever and don't grow up!!

He picked up the dog this evening and called me a few minutes after getting home saying, "This dog is HUGE!!" and is also a bit frightened because I told him that dogs are a big responsibility, but Pit Bulls and the like are even more so."

"I went into BSL, how difficult it is to rent with a Pit Bull type dog and that most towns require you to have your Pit Bull insured.  Also, I went into the whole, "your young, what if you get married, move, etc". bit.

I'm thinking it is a good thing that he is relinquishing him now, before the boy is a year old and not house-trained, socialized or neutered!  He is a cousin of the kid that needed to re-home, Hunter, the Basset Hound."

The puppy is supposedly a pure breed American Stafforshire Terrier, eight and a half weeks old, named, "Nory."  He is red and already knows, "Sit" and, "Come."  Owner has some food that he will give to adopter and he can keep him for a short time.  I may get to meet the baby tomorrow night.

Well, Tammy has definitely done a great thing by getting little Nory out of his less-than-desireable surroundings this early.

He is currently in RI, and before placement will be neutered, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped -- all standard fare at SPBR.

What he NEEDS though is a GREAT home, to help him become the little man he always wanted to be!

If you're the one, and can promise you won't be a dead-beat mom or dad for the next 15 years, fill out an application above!
