Here's sweet Rudy -- his rescuer, Rosemarie, writes --
"The story of Rudy.
The first time a saw Rudy was on Jan 1, 2006. It was a very rural setting, on top of a mountain, the wind blowing, and lots of snow. He was in an outside pen with a broken down doghouse with urine soaked, frozen straw. He was one of 17 other dogs kept in the same manner. When I walked up, he looked at me, did not make a sound, but his eyes said “take me out of here” and I did."
|
"I brought him to my house and immediately to the Vet. Thank god he was healthy, and after a flea bath, I could start getting to know him.
He never made a sound for three weeks, and it was a slow process of him trusting me."

" Now that he has been with me for almost six months, he is sweet, loving, relaxed, and ready for his forever home.
I picture Rudy in a quiet home with one or two sensitive, loving, responsible, caring, adults, where is would be a true companion, not just an ornament."
|
"Rudy is about 5 – 6 years old, healthy, loves to ride in a car, would probably love going for walks, loves to cuddle, and desperately wants to be close to his humans." |
