Sammy's foster mom writes --
"I was volunteering at our location in union square this past saturday when two guys showed up with two pit mixes they found walking down 34th street the night before.
Neither of them could take the dogs, in fact they were both leaving for California that afternoon. They said that if we didn't take them off their hands they were going to take them to the CACC. One of our volunteers was able to take the female but nobody was able to help the male. I couldn't turn my back on this sweet dog and let him be taken to the CACC but I couldn't take him home with me so I scrambled and was able to board him at our vets office.
They have agreed to keep him until he gets neutered which should be in the next couple days. After that he has no where to go. I am DESPERATE to find a foster home (or permanent!) for this sweet boy. "
