Hello Eric. I am the manager of the of a Humane Society here in Ct. I was r ecently on a trip to a local Animal Shelter to transfer dogs that were going to be euthanized. I ran across Tessa who was on her way out the door to be euthanized.

 

I had no choice but to take this beauty into my home for fostering.. There is no way I could have seen her put down.. She is approx 10 months of age, housebroken and has a fine tempermant. I have her up on our web site here on petfinder, but as of yet have not found the right home for her. They do not allow me (the board of directors)to accept Pit Bulls ..This i do not understand since i have a terrific group of individuals here who constantly work with our dogs..

 

..but anyway, since i cannot take her in here i will foster her until i find her forever home or an appropriate foster home for her.. My problem is that since i am here all day from7am until 8pm for seven days per week , I feel that i am not there for Tessa.as she needs me to be.. My question to you is this. Do you know of anyone looking for a girl like Tessa, whether it to be for adoption or foster, and/or could you possibly post Tessa on your site?
