Well, Zack is being victimized, and your helping him out would mean the world to a lot of souls --

Here's what his present mom writes:

" I was a volunteer at a local shelter and decided to rescued Zack with the intention of fostering him but have not been successful in finding him a home. Zack was dropped off at the shelter one very cold night in January 2003. His owners couldn’t keep him anymore because they were evicted from their home and were living with friends who had a dog. The friends didn’t want Zack in the house so his owners kept him outside. Someone at the shelter found this out and Zack’s owners were told to bring him in. When he came in he was so thin, dirty and very nervous.

A year had past, Zack was still at the shelter and it was heartbreaking to see how unhappy he was. "

She continues --

" He has been living with me in my condo for about a year and a half. Unfortunately, I have ignorant neighbors complaining that I have a “vicious pit bull” (their words) living with me. The board of directors has ordered me to remove him or pay daily fines.

I had to hire an attorney so that bought me a little time but I can't leave him alone because the neighbor below me calls Animal Control even if he hears Zack walking around or hears him barking (Zack is not much of a barker either)! Needless to say, it's pretty stressful here for Zack. "

Finally --

"Zack is four years old, neutered and up to date on all his shots. He needs to be with an experienced dog owner and the only pet. He is a big mush. He loves to just hang out with everyone but should not be with small children. He's 85 lbs and still thinks he is a lapdog! He has been a wonderful companion and is very affectionate. I hope someone can help me find that special person to adopt him."
