Ginger's joy is new and forever!!

Well, little Ginger had a rough start to life --

-- she was found, abandoned, in a home after the owners moved out --

-- at 6 weeks.

Jann was her guardian angel all through the adoption, only looking for the best of homes...

... and best of homes she got --

-- enter Rachel, Jason and Mom --

-- and MASON, who Rachel adopted from SPBR last fall -- !!!

Mason (aka Chewy) is shown here on his adoption day --

-- more on him can be found here --

Today, 8 months later, Chewy's all grown up -- here he is with Jason...

Here are Elvis and Chewy, on their neuter day, at 8 weeks -- !!

... and here they are at 8 months -- !!

-- I think they were from different litters -- !!! For more on their litter, click here --

Here, momma and Ginger bond...

... and she quickly warms up to her new dad...

... and her meeting with Mason was full of licks and love -- !!

... the three then high-tail it out to the other side of the yard...

... and their order is determined by strength and size... with Mason at the helm...

Here, Ginger takes a look at the leaf in Elvie's mouth...

Elvis sits his chubby butt down to show her, but doesn't let her come TOO close -- !!

... that is, until he finds the soccer ball --

-- and the leaf is history -- !!

While Elvis romps, Mason and his new sister exchange glances...

Elvis quickly breaks that moment up, acting soooo puppy -- !!

The three take a final run through the yard, and we're almost ready to hit the road...

I love this picture -- everyone happy, with Elvis and his brother smilin' away...

The brood settles in...

... Rachel is a great owner -- knowing that two pit bulls in the same household need special and responsible ownership. She will crate both pups when unattended, and feed them separately.

... here's after the home-visit -- I think we've made a good match -- !!

Upon discovering Mason's public display of affection, he quickly realizes his exposure and corrects it --

-- "not me" he says -- !!!

So, THANK YOU, all three, plus Jann, for making this girls' life perfect and playful!
