Jack went from an uncertain future to life in a happy Cape -- !! |
Click here for his Spring 2006 update!
Here's the story of Jack, one of our labbies from South Carolina, whose complete story is here... |
Kelly and her boyfriend were kind enough to transport these loves up North, and then it was all down-hill from there -- !! |
At the home visit of Chris and Amy, little Jack (now named Normand) finds his new momma quickly..!! |
Chris, Jack's new Dad, thinks, "Hmmm... this pup was MY idea, and I'm not even getting to pet him -- !!" |
Jack continues in his bliss -- MOMS RULE -- !! |
Finally, I get a shot in with the boy, who gives me a good-bye lick or two... |
And then he's off to explore his new pad... |
Haha -- first legs on a hardwood floor -- !! |
He quickly finds his first toy, and his bat-like ears help balance him on the slippery floor -- !! |
Finally, Chris gets some quality time with the little man... |
... and the family is complete -- Chris and Amy update me often and tell of this little man's successes --
-- GREAT WORK, ALL!

One month update -- !!
Well, a month has gone by, and little Normand continues his love for momma -- !! |
Chris writes:
"
Just letting you know that Jack is doing awesome!!! He is such a great pup.
He is doing great and is getting very big. Last week he weighed in at 31 pounds. Thanks for everything and I look forward to seeing the pics on the site."

Here's Normand, with his girlfriend, Jax --
"Shhhh," says Normand -- "Pups and cats aren't SUPPOSED to get along -- !!"
So, this boy's come a long way -- from basically a dead dog walking to a happy, loving home with plenty of stimulation and fun --
-- THANK YOU, Chris and Amy, for doing right by this boy -- !!

Spring 2006 update!
Well, lookie here -- our boy got big -- and someone else came in to the mix -- !!
Chris writes --
"Hey Eric -
Norman is doing great. He just got a new sister a few weeks ago. Her name is Lola, she is a Rotti. They are getting along great. He is a great teacher.
Other than that everything else is great. I attached a few new pics of Norm and sis.
Hope everything is going well.
Chris and Amy"

Welcome, Lola -- !!
And just LOOK at Norman! He came from a South Carolina litter that the rescuer threathened to euthanise because she thought they were "part pit bull" -- far from the truth -- !!
These are the joys of life, really -- to see little Norm go from being an unwanted puppy to a year later, showing up as a prince -- !!
Thank you, Chris and Amy, for making Norm's life a noble one!
