Ajax is finally the big little man he always wanted to be!!

Well, here's little Ajax, Tulip's son, as he came to rescue at 5 weeks... the definite runt of the crowd -- !!

Here's the group at 8 weeks, altered, chipped, de-wormed, vaccinated, and ready to go home! Little 'jax is in the rear-center...

Enter the judging panel -- a sweet little 5 year old, looking for a best friend...

... he quickly realizes the picking is plenty, and it ain't easy to pick just one -- !!

... hmmmm......

... his brother steps in, to make sure the pickin's proper...

... they've found one, the puppy's scanned for his chip (these are some similar looking puppies!), and their boy is found!

... "AJAX" --- victory!

Next, the siblings have a family-meeting to confirm the pick -- just the kids, mind you, Brady-style...

... little Ajax passes that hurdle, and next is Dad... not a problem!!!

... finally, the family photo... this little boy is going from one big family to another -- !!

.. Ajax says, "GOOD -- no more Clara, Anna or Paris to beat me up and make me wear dresses -- !!"

Next, at the home visit -- the boys are still in love...

... and the littlest boy so-sweetly informs me that the puppy is now his and that my services are no longer needed... in lesser words -- !!

Dad runs through some red tape...

... and we're almost there, to give Ajax a picture-perfect life!

First, a little puppy education. Here we discuss Ajax's neuter and the freckles on his belly...

... next we discuss how fragile Ajax's head is and that he needs to be handled with special care...

... finally, I'm told, in lesser words (again!) that the boys are DONE listening, and now it's time to start playing -- !!

.. but wait, another family photo... :)

.. and we're done... thanks to progressive-thinking parents who are keen on making this little pit-bull mix a family dog, right from the start -- THANK YOU to everyone, starting at with the folks at Tulip's urban animal control, and ending at Ajax's suburban utopia...!
