Nala loves her swimming pool. Trying to get Snickers use to the pool. He is doing good. Won't go in by himself. He is getting big. Our vet said he was going to be a big boy. He is 15 weeks tomorrow and weighs 28 lbs. We love him so much!!!!

He says they heard a whimper and found the infant injured. They took her to a local hospital. She was flown to a Toledo hospital, where she died. Everett says the dog appeared to be a pit bull and is in the dog warden's custody.

Had xrays taken of his throat today. He has been regurgitating his food and water off an on for the past several weeks. He used to do it every time he drank when we first got him but I though it was because he would drink so fast. He doesn't drink or eat fast now but he has been throwing up liquid (sometimes a bit of food) shortly after he eats or drinks. Found out he has a "mega esophagus" Basically means there is a part of his esophagus that is larger than the rest and it causes him to regurgitate food and water. He is on meds for it now for two weeks in hopes it shrinks.We also have to feed his food and water in a raised dish. If it gets worse he will be prone to more problems. Cross your fingers he gets better fast.

Still has bad diarrhea and not wanting to eat. Brought in a poop sample and it came back with some bacteria so he is on metronidazole. Crossing fingers he bounces back.

Colin didn't want to eat this morning. Not sure if its his elevated food dish, the food, or the fact that he doesn't feel good. So sucky to see him like this :( His activity level last night seem pretty good and he ate, although hesitantly. The dog was neglected, abused, isolated from the outside world. We originally found out that Moon was a 4 month old blue nose. He had never seen a vet. Was attacked by the owners 3... So about a week and a half ago, my wife and I were involved in a rescue/surrender to us with the guidance of Eric. The dog was neglected, abused, isolated from the outside world. We originally found out that Moon was a 4 month old blue nose. He had never seen a vet. Was attacked by the owners 3 1/2 yr old pit/mix. He has several scars on his face, head, and body from the attacks.
After we took possession of Moon and brought him home to meet Blue (our 6 month old from the Tuscaloosa 10) we immediately noticed several other flaws. He was obviously not feed well. He was storing food in his jowls and his crate. He would cower down when he was eating if Blue walked into the kitchen like she was going to attack him. He was never house broken either, so the accidents were regular.
We decided from the beginning that we would foster him and let him go. We started setting things up with Eric to set up to adopt him out. With a lot of careful thought and family members stepping in to help out with caring for him and offering to help with the vet bills. Moon is going to stay here in his forever home with us.
I really have to thank Eric for the help in the beginning and with the recent phone calls.
I will post pics in a few (as soon as I figure out how.)
