Default Coffy Snapped at a Person

Husband had 3 male friends over for Bills game yesterday. Friends #1 and #2, Coffy looooves, especially #1 because she sees him very regularly. Friend #3 has only been coming over since the games started so she's seen him maybe 3 times prior. She never had an issue with him any of those times.

Friend #1 always watches the game stretched out on the floor, usually snuggling with Coffy. When #3 showed up, he was standing sort of over #1 and reached down to give him a high-five. Coffy immediately jumped up and barked at him. We all got her to stop but as the day went on, she was just constantly 'on edge' with #3.

It was weird b/c he could pet her and got her to 'Sit' and 'Shake' etc randomly but if he reached for some snacks, she would snap and growl or if he got up to walk to the kitchen, she would follow and snap at his hands.

This went on for the whole game and it was so random and weird. Is this something I need to be as worried as I am about it?

I would say that the behavior definitely needs to be addressed. I can't remember if we talked about this at all, but if we did not, please next time you guys are in for group remind me, and we can talk about it.

Hope all is well!

Ok thanks Josh, will do this Saturday. Yeah it was just so unlike her that all I could think of is that she was protecting 'Uncle Al'.
