Well, here's Precious, enjoying her Summer 2005 --

-- I adopted her 2-1/2 years ago from an abandonment situation in Missouri --

-- when here backyard-breeder owners were done with her, they moved away, leaving her in the back yard, alone. Some kind folks got her situated, and today she is quite content -- after her spay and as the only female -- !!

Note Precious' coat, too -- she is a red merle -- merles are in most breeds, and are quite rare in pit bulls -- something that turned unfortunate for her, in a way, when her prior "parents" decided her beauty could be bred out of her for profit -- :(

Today, Precious is happy -- and responsibly owned. She is only socialized with males -- my other three, namely -- !! Here, Elvis and Thor chase, with Spud and Onyx (black) in the background...

Precious' temperament epitomizes the pit bull -- great with any person, no question, but not necessarily with other dogs -- that's where the diligence pays off in proper introductions and reading her signs of "like" or "dislike" --

So, that's Preccie -- around 3-4 years old this Summer, 2005 -- a sweetheart that has taught me so much about the pit bull temperament and loving personality --
